In my younger days, I spent a lot of time in Texas, especially West Texas, and it wasn’t too difficult to get pictures like this if you didn’t mind the cactus, bush thorns, and rattlesnakes.
I had a photographer friend who told me he swore of taking taking another West Texas sky shot five or six years ago. After showing me some. I said “So these must be old” and he said “Only a couple of weeks ago. Stopppin’ only lasted ’bout a day.”
